Worship at Colonial Point Christian Church

James Gray is the spiritual and functional leader of the worship ministry and the worship band at Colonial Point Christian Church (CPCC) in South Windsor, Connecticut. His personal philosophy of worship is the same as CPCC, "We are a community who honors God, reaches out in love and grows in our relationship with Him." He attempts to lead worship in a way that he feels will engage guests in a positive way. He tries to remain open to the leading of God's Spirit during all phases of the worship process. He tries to experience personal worship while leading worship, which is not always possible, but always desirable.

James leads by developing and empowering others on the worship team to collectively provide all the work needed to plan, practice, and conduct worship. As with all things, he tries to lead by example. The success of any good team is the exceptional people who perform the key functions.
