Rockingham Christian Church (RCC) celebrated her fourth birthday in November 2005. God continues to provide new faces each week and opportunities to touch the community with the gospel of Christ. The spirit and vision of the people is stronger than ever with a desire to reach not only Salem but the surrounding communities. The worship teams, led by Bill & Amy Petty, have produced a worship CD to give guests each week. Tom & Karen Gerdts add much wisdom and experience to a young church as Tom serves as lead minister, and Chris & Amy Snyder lead the children's ministries that attract many families each week.  

RCC is in the process of locating a 24/7 facility to serve as office space, worship space, and a place for small groups and worship team activities. They are currently worshipping each Sunday at the Mary Fisk Elementary School in Salem. A search is also in place for land to purchase for a future location.
