 Dear Friends,

The past month has been filled with celebration.  The picture to the left is an example of one such celebration.  Yes, that's right, it's a renovated WWII Duck Boat carrying some of the 2007 World Series Champion Red Sox.  In celebrating the World Series win, the entire Red Sox organization boarded around 15 Duck Boats for a parade through the city.  Some of the REUNION staff were at the parade snapping pictures as the Duck Boats drove past.

But our celebration doesn't stop there.  REUNION has also had a great month.  In the month of October we had a three week series on sex.  As a staff we were all a little nervous on the response from the church, but the response was great.  A lot of discussion came out of the series.  Within our Community Groups people were able to dive into some of the issues a little further.  Some people recognized areas where they needed to change.  Others who were attending for the first time immediately felt that REUNION was the place where they could belong.

November is shaping up to be just as exciting.  Right now we are in the middle of a clothing drive for a couple of organizations with whom we are partnering.  We are also collecting food items for Thanksgiving baskets that we are putting together for families in need of Thanksgiving meals.  This week as a church, we are fasting for one meal and are using the time to pray and listen for ways that God might be asking us to act generously.  This Sunday we will take a special offering of the money that would have gone to the meal we fasted from, and will use it to buy turkeys for the Thanksgiving baskets.

These are just some of the stories that are worth celebrating.  It is great to see people join with REUNION as we seek to follow Jesus and His mission.

Thank you for continuing to support us as we help people find their way back to God.  Hopefully as you read the stories in this email you realize that you are helping us make a difference for God's kingdom.  We could not do this without you.

God Bless,

Hank Wilson and the REUNION Team

Two Services, Here We Come!

Earlier this summer we pondered the next step for REUNION.  Should we move to two services?  Will our growth be substantial enough for that change?.   Our attendance for September, October and November has steadily been on the rise.  In fact we have reached our highest attendance on October 28 with 240.

Our Community Groups are growing, and more people are serving in various capacities.  (On a side note Mike Brown is currently in the midst of auditioning around 25 people who are interested in serving with the arts.)

But with this growth also comes issues with space and having enough room for people.  So on January 20 REUNION is planning on moving to two services.  The times are yet to be determined, but hopefully this will give us a little more room to grow.  Please continue to pray for us during this time as we strive to make this transition.

October Baptisms

Christine
"I have had an ongoing argument between myself and God about why I should be baptized.  I finally came to the conclusion that God is sovereign and I am doing it because He says to do it.  So here I am!"

Matt
"I have wanted to get baptized for a few years now.  When I came to REUNION, I fell in love with the community and it's message.  This is the right time for this step."

Grant
"My testimony isn't a sudden conversion story in that I didn't change overnight.  In fact, I'm always changing as I grow closer to God.  Coming to Boston was a huge step in part of my walk with God because the secular culture of the city really forced me to turn to Him. I consider baptism to be another step and a personal declaration of my faith and trust in Jesus Christ."

Pray It Up!

Would you please pray for us in the following areas this month?

1. Pray that our transition to two services would be smooth and that it would create room for growth.

2. Pray that our community would continue to find opportunities to serve the city of Boston.

3.  Pray for students who are staying in Boston over the holidays, that they might find REUNION to be a family away from home.
