EastPointe Christian Church was launched on March 7, 2004, with over 220 in attendance! Current average attendance is about 230. The first worship location was the Maine Mall theater building; after six months this new church moved to the Marriott at Sable Oaks off of Running Hill Road in South Portland. In January 2006, EastPointe relocated to a 24/7 warehouse facility on the South Portland/Scarborough line on Route 1. The Sunday evening "Discover EastPointe" class and youth program continue to draw new people. With a concern to reach the unchurched, EastPointe was blessed to have over 50 baptisms their first year.
